About

I am a senior AI engineer in Edmonton, Canada. At Artificial Agency I work on agent systems for games. Before that, four years at Inworld building real-time AI agents that shipped inside AAA titles — long-term memory, behaviour engines, and the observability needed to trust them in production.

My background is mathematical rather than CS: inverse and ill-posed problems at Novosibirsk State University, in the Kabanikhin–Shishlenin group. Three publications; the epidemic-modelling paper has 41 citations. That training is the reason I reach for measurement before intuition.

What I write

Teardowns. A question comes up in real work, I take the system apart, and I publish what the numbers say — including the hypotheses that did not survive and the parts I never tested. Scripts go on GitHub so anyone can rerun them.
